Equality Statement _______

Mercy Junction Justice and Peace Center asks all of its building partners, building members, co-working members, and others who are sharing our space and who are part of our community to affirm the following Equality Statement:

As a social justice ministry, we seek to work with partners who share our values. We seek partners who affirm the equality of all human beings. We seek partners whose organizations or ministries make open their services, employment, and opportunities at leadership/ordination to all people without regard to sex, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Children's Policy__________

Children and teens are welcome at the Justice and Peace Center if they are participating in an age-appropriate program, and are signed-in with permission forms by their guardians. If a child or teen is at the center and is not participating in a formal program, the child or teen must be with a guardian and must be supervised by that guardian at all times.

Companion Animals _______

Companion animals are welcome at the Justice and Peace Center but must be registered by their guardian through the administrator's office before their first visit. In order to register a companion animal who will be visiting the center, the guardian needs to provide documentation of spay/neuter and rabies vaccination. Companion animals must be on leash or in a carrier/crate, and under the control of an adult guardian, at all times they are on center property -- both inside and outside the building -- unless they are confined in a building partner's private rented space. Guardians are expected to clean up any waste left by their companion animals in both shared and private spaces.
